2022 was an unpredictable year

... marked by the war in Ukraine and economic uncertainty affecting both companies and individuals. Despite these external challenges, LLYC ended the year strong, showing the continued growth we expected.

Our commitment to technology continues undiminished, as shown by the consolidation of our Deep Digital area during 2022. It now generates one-third of our revenues and represents a team of over 400 professionals, who deliver over 50 solutions in the fields of Digital Marketing, Influence, Creativity, and Deep Learning to our clients every day. Additionally, we invested €800,000 into innovation, particularly into developing proprietary data analysis algorithms.

In line with our commitment to innovation, we made our first two investments from LLYC Venturing, our own venture capital initiative. We expect these investments will be followed by many more in the years to come.

We also maintained our strong commitment to talent. In 2022, we surpassed 1,120 employees - our LLYCers - and promoted 167 of our people (+18.4% promotions vs. 2021). This was largely thanks to our Challengers program, which is designed to help our young talent accelerate their careers. We were also certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) in all 12 offices eligible for this certification.

Creativity also remains an integral part of our business. We were honored to receive 120 national and international awards and recognitions throughout 2022, including from major awarding bodies such as the Cannes Lions, New York Advertising Awards, El Sol, FIAP, Effie, IPRA Golden Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, Eikon, Eficacia, Sabre Awards, and PRWeek Global Awards.

Additionally, we progressed in our ESG commitments, particularly through the LLYC Foundation’s work. Our 415 volunteers dedicated over 2,000 hours to its projects, working together to address important causes such as education, diversity, and gender equality. Also, we ended the year by reinforcing our corporate governance structure. We separated the CEO and President roles to strengthen our operations and customer service by appointing Alejandro Romero as our new Global CEO.

Finally, we remained resolute in our commitment to fostering knowledge, and we have the numbers to back that up: 39 LLYC IDEAS, 23 LLYC reports (nine of them made using Data Analytic Suite methodology), two issues of UNO Magazine, and four podcast series, to name a few.

In short, despite the difficulties we faced in 2022, we are pleased we were able to continue growing. None of these results would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our team of LLYCers, nor without our clients, who have continued to place their trust in LLYC to help them overcome their challenges. Thank you all.

AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO MARKETING

Our drive to continuously innovate has inspired us to invest in new services that take advantage of our acquired companies’ skills (BESO by LLYC, Apache part of LLYC, and CHINA part of LLYC). By doing so, we are becoming a 360º consulting service - from strategy to execution. These investments, combined with our communications model, mean we can better serve and improve our clients’ businesses and reputations.

How do we do it? Our teams possess the tools and knowledge needed to analyze digital conversations through exponential technologies, helping us understand our clients’ audiences. We use this knowledge and data prediction to connect client brands with their target communities, allowing them to advance toward their goals.

Our marketing methodology is based on creating a set of efficient, innovative solutions brands can use to connect with their audiences’ current and future interests.
